When people who were being excluded from a group are so desperate to be included again that they will take advantage of a situation that doesn’t even involve them in order to court favour.

Cosying up to the right people, now that they know who those people are. Not because they genuinely like them but because of what they represent. Running around, trying to gather information that they can present as an offering of sorts. All of this despite claiming they don’t want to be involved.

Then there are those who know so much more. So much. Yet they still stay. They still support. Able to compartmentalise even the most predatory of behaviour.
Women supporting women? Oh honey, who are you lying to?

How weird it must be to exist in a group where noone really likes one another. Noone is there for unselfish reasons. Noone is actually your friend.
